This series largely took place over the spring and summer of 2022, when I was doing one study per week. They were a great way for me to warm up for other projects, practice my figure drawing, and play with color. But, the series really began back in 2019 when I first began experimenting with digital painting.

I created one of my first digital paintings ever, Figure 1, in a total of 30 minutes just trying to figure out all of the Procreate tools and features. Figure 1 soon became one of the most-loved emlacreates designs, and inspired me to return to figure studies digitally.
